Where do you live and why do you love it?
Windsor Square, which some people refer to as Larchmont although it’s a bit East of that. it’s a fantastic old neighborhood that feels like it’s been transplanted from the East Coast, with classic houses, big trees, wide sidewalks, people walking dogs, and kids on bikes.
Cafe Luxxe tops the list for me, although the unless you’re on the West Side the only place to buy is at Sweet Rose Creamery, an ice cream shop on Beverly near the Grove.
Best food in the hood?
Republique on LaBrea. The menu changes daily and the space is simply gorgeous.
Favorite spot for a cocktail?
Same as above. The best old fashioned I’ve ever had.
Where do you find your go-to hostess gift?
The Cocktail Lab at 7605 1/2 Beverly Boulevard. This place has amazing selection of new and vintage bar ware as well as an incredible collection of mixers, syrups and bitters.
Best kept neighborhood secret?
Salt & Straw ice cream on Larchmont Boulevard. Homemade ice cream that originated in Portland, they use all local vendors for their ingredients. Although judging from the lines out the door, this find has already been found. By many.
