The primary focus of the gallery is to promote the careers of artists through solo and group exhibitions, museum relationships, art fairs and important private collections.
Where do you live and why do you love it?
Larchmont. I love the central location the most. The neighborhood is an older area with lots of charm and a great shopping district with independent and creative businesses. It also has my favorite farmer’s market on Sundays! I have found it is the closest thing to a San Francisco (my former home of 15 years) neighborhood in LA for interesting people over 35 and a nice alternative from the young Silverlake hipster ghetto.
Blue Bottle…but usually end up at Peets on Larchmont because it is convenient, and Blue Bottle is just getting off the ground in LA.
Best food in the hood?
Osteria la Buca, with a very close second choice of Osteria Mamma.
Favorite spot for a cocktail?
Pour Vous is quaint and very French-boutique-meet-boudoir (but only on quiet nights other than Friday or Saturday which fills up with Hollywood wanna-be douche bags)! Also the bar at Chandara where you get a front row seat watching the young overly made up Thai girls with implants and way too much cleavage flirt with older white business men.
Where do you find your go-to hostess gift?
Village Heights on Larchmont.
Favorite find in the neighborhood?
Safety Cycle bike shop on Western.
