Inspired by our random thoughts, inspiration, opinions and experiences (often arbitrarily shared – out of context – in our team meetings) – hey, You Know What’s Cool? was born. Today’s installment: The San Francisco Decorator Showcase!
Perched atop Pacific Avenue in San Francisco sits the gorgeous revival mansion hosting this year’s San Francisco Decorator Showcase house. We had the good fortune of getting a sneak peek, and what a treat! Each designer articulated their vision in their respective rooms in a unique and creative way, but somehow the house this year seems to come together as a whole in a more cohesive manner.
Upon entering the home, both the classic emerald green living room by Jonathan Rachman and the old masters inspired modern library by Martin Kobus beckon. At the top of the grand staircase the dramatic, art filled master bedroom by Beth Martin with its stunning Bay views is also a show stopper. We all agreed that we would happily take the Kitchen by Jon de la Cruz immediately (the organized shelves by Bliss Homes being a coveted bonus!) and we loved the glamour of Molie Malone’s guest bathroom. The upstairs bath by Meam Quin and office by Chris Eskra were also unexpected gems.
If you are looking for inspiration and want to support a great cause, the Showcase House will be open for the month of May. Certainly a cool way to spend a day!
