Beautifully simple and elegant, this Dunbar mahogany Parsons table was designed by Edward Wormley – the rich mahogany grain makes a real statement. Edward Wormley was a longtime director of design for the Dunbar furniture company, and along with such peers as George Nelson at Herman Miller, Inc., and Florence Knoll of Knoll, Inc., he was one of the leading forces in bringing modern design into American homes in the mid-20th century. Wormley deeply appreciated traditional design, and his work has an understated warmth and a timeless quality that sets it apart form other Mid-century furnishings.
Please note: there is a small chip in the veneer on the two of the mahogany Parsons table corners.
